YOU TOLD US TO TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER - Short Film

Starring Michael Sheen, written by award-winning playwright Emma-Louise Howell (BBC, Leicester Curve, Shakespeare’s Globe), set to release later this year...
This film will be used as a campaign to challenge British small talk about the weather - particularly in light of arrests and silencing of climate protesters. The aim is for people to 'really' talk about the weather and engage in meaningful ways with the climate crisis. There has also been interest with climate groups like EarthRise, UNICEF and Green Eyes.
Alongside the short we are releasing a zine containing poetry, interviews with climate activists and articles on how to engage with climate action. This zine has been funded and supported by the British Council, Arts Council England and Boundless Theatre.
