Dirctor | Producer | Writer | EditorBobby is a tap dancer faced with the anxiety and fear of moving home, leaving friends, and abandoning a life he has finally built for himself. This short uses a mix of genres interpreted through surreal, rhythmic and realistic mediums.
This film was made in assosiation with SOMESUCH, and was all filmed in one day, utalising the spaces we had around us to tell this vibrant story. I wanted to tell an honest urban tale that felt simplistic in its telling but rich in its content.

This film was made possible through the collaboration with actor, friend, and fantastic tap dancer Luke Lowry. We had worked together before and discussed wanting to collaborate on something else, when Luke showed me he could tap dance I was in complete awe of his ability and wanted to write something that utilized his skills and allowed him to tell so much of a character not just through his performance but through his movements as well. We have a great work dynamic, and this piece is something passionate to us.
The film is now complete and well into it’s festival circuit, already picking up success. Private screener link available on request.
