My first video for Random Think Studio, and second collaboration with indie band Dutch Criminal Record. Shot on a sunny August day in my London back garden, this shoot was an absolute joy, feeling like we were just throwing a party of our own with so many friendly faces.
I wanted to focus on character moments in this video and generate an atmosphere that the lead character was almost swallowed within. Capturing that wholesome summer nostalgia but also exploring a social anxiety so many often experience in these overwhelming social gatherings. It was great to work with these character nuances and with so many supporting artists to make up an ensemble party that feels like a scene pluck out of a wider narrative TV show!
